Throughout the year the society runs photographic competitions, these competitions consist of Open Colour Prints, Open Digital Image, Digital Monocrome, Digital Colour, Natural History and Three on a Theme.

| Ron Lennox Champion Trophy | Dale Powell | The overall club Champion. To win this trophy the entrant must enter both slide and print competitions throughout the year. |

Natural History. This must be any wild plant or animal species in their natural habitat. |

Three on a Theme. This can be any theme of your choice, in any format, Print or Slide. |
| Hyscot Trophy | Douglas Beck & Fred Singleton | Beginners Champion |
| The Abbots Hall Trophy | Ken Allan | This trophy is the Presidents choice, he alone decides who deserves to win it. |
